India raided the offices of Chinese smartphone maker Vivo. Previously, he had made searches on Huawei and Xiaomi. Why is India raiding Chinese firms?

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo said on Tuesday it was “cooperating with authorities” in India after reports of investigators raiding dozens of its offices on suspicion of money laundering.

A Vivo spokesperson confirmed that the Enforcement Directorate, India’s financial crime-fighting agency, raided multiple locations and seized company property.
