Memorandum of Understanding signed between Saudi Arabia and Huawei

With the Digital Academy of Saudi Arabia (Saudi Digital Academy) signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei on the cultivation of local talents.

The agreement was signed by Mohammed Al-Suhaim (CEO of Saudi Digital Academy) and Steven Liu (Vice CEO of Huawei’s Technology Investments in Saudi Arabia). The agreement aims to achieve the Saudi Arabian Vision 2030 target and promote its digital transformation.

With the agreement signed between Saudi Arabia and Huawei, approximately 8,000 Saudis will specialize in training Saudi Arabian network security, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and 5G network usage.

Apart from the agreement, it was learned that it will also conduct different training programs on the academy, with the exchange of information between Saudi Arabia and Huawei. Saudi Arabia also invests heavily in blockchain technologies. It can cooperate with Huawei on these technologies. Saudi Arabia is considering very serious investments, especially in the metaverse.
