Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the POCO F8 Ultra, has received NBTC certification, signaling an imminent launch. The device, previously subject to various rumors, now holds model number 25102PCBEG and is expected to arrive early in 2026.
Industry speculation suggests the POCO F8 Ultra is a rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Pro Max. This implies the two devices will share largely identical specifications.
The POCO F8 Ultra is anticipated to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely run HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, and include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Powering the device is expected to be a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Sources indicate the POCO F8 Ultra may utilize a slightly smaller battery than the 7,650 mAh battery found in the Redmi K90 Pro Max, potentially around 7,000 mAh.
Camera details point to a 20MP front-facing selfie camera and a rear triple camera system comprising a 50MP OmniVision OV50 main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope lens with expected 5x optical zoom and OIS.
