SAIC-GM-Wuling's first model co-developed with Huawei, the Huajing S SUV.
SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei are teaming up for a new model, the Huajing S, set to hit the market by mid-2026. The car is expected to offer advanced tech features and a plug-in hybrid option.
The Huajing S SUV will be equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 Pro smart driving system and HarmonySpace cockpit, showcasing the tech giant’s latest offerings. The vehicle is designed to compete in higher-end segments of the market.
According to SAIC-GM-Wuling, this partnership aims to bring innovative features and improved performance to their lineup. The Huajing S will measure 5,235 mm in length, featuring a WLTC battery range of up to 175 kilometers for its PHEV model.
The new SUV is built on the Tianyu L architecture introduced by SAIC-GM-Wuling last year. This platform supports various vehicle sizes and classes from micro cars to mid-to-large size vehicles, offering versatility in design and performance capabilities.
SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Baojun brand announced earlier this month that Huajing will have dedicated pages on the Huawei Qiankun App for more information. This move signals a growing collaboration between automotive brands and tech companies like Huawei, pushing boundaries in the industry.
The Huajing S, co-developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei, will be launched in the first half of 2026.
It will feature Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 Pro smart driving system and HarmonySpace cockpit. This makes it stand out with advanced tech capabilities.
Huajing S is based on SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Tianyu L architecture, a versatile platform that supports various vehicle sizes from small to large cars.
