The founder of the Chinese tech giant said that Huawei Technologies has replaced more than 13,000 parts in its products affected by the US trade sanctions, according to a transcript released by a Chinese university on Friday (March 17).
According to the text of the February speech released by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Ren Zhengfei said that in the past three years, Huawei has replaced 13,000 components with domestic Chinese counterparts and redesigned 4,000 circuit boards for its products, "stabilizing" the production of circuit boards.
