Huawei Mate 40 Pro Smart WeChat Pay officially released

In the announcement from the official WeChat account of the Huawei mobile phone, Huawei Mate 40 series smart payment WeChat payment method has been made available. Huawei announced the “Smart Payment” feature at the conference held in October 2020. It can be downloaded from “Service APP-Upgrade Early Access” section to download the feature currently used in China.

To make the payment automatically, the Huawei smartphone must be located close to the vendor’s scanning device. It allows them to make payments without the need for a QR code and the payment process becomes easier.

It is not yet active in every seller in China, but the system is expected to expand quickly. The new payment system for WeChat Pay, Huawei Smart Payment, includes general payment applications. Recently, UnionPay cloud QuickPass, which is widely used in China, is said to be compatible with banking applications and other applications etc.
