Huawei used Kirin 9000 and 9000E series processors and chipsets only in the Mate 40 series. It was learned that the processor of Huawei’s new generation flagship will be called Kirin Kirin 9010 and will use 3nm process.

Kirin 9010 processors, which are stated to be used in Huawei Mate 50, will come with 3 nm architecture. The new processor will have a smaller architecture and more performance. But the new processor is thought to be released in the fourth period of 2021.

The 3 nm processor planned to be used in the Mate 50 is expected to be released in the last quarter of 2021.

Samsung and TSMC, the processor manufacturing leaders, are yet to produce 3 nm. Huawein is expected to produce 3 nm processors, while other companies (Samsung, Qualcomm, TMSC) are expected to produce 3 nm. US bans have led Huawei to further develop its technology. It seems that the USA is not getting the result it expected from the Bans.

Currently, the Kirin 9000 and 9000E SoCs in Huawei’s flagship mobile phones are manufactured using TSMC’s 5nm process and integrate up to 15.3 billion transistors. They are designed with 1 × A77, 3 × 2.54 GHz A77, 4 × 2.04 GHz A55, and the maximum core frequency is up to 3.13 GHz. .
