The company, which has been the focus of sanctions since May, has developed an alternative to applications used around the world. Gmail will replace apps like Google Maps, Chrome, Photos. Cloud backups of user devices will be taken.

Huawei is reportedly working on alternatives for Google apps and has invested over $1 billion globally towards its HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) developer program. Huawei India chief Charles Peng told Economic Times in a statement:

We have our own HMS and are trying to build a mobile ecosystem. We are focusing on how to work with developers to offer a good customer experience. It is a challenge that we are trying to address.

Applications developed by Indian developers will be used in Europe and many countries. The 100-150 most used applications in each country will be installed on Huawei Mobile Services.

The main problem will be with services such as YouTube and the Google Play Store. Yes, Huawei has it’s App Gallery as an alternative, but it doesn’t host a lot of essentials such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

Against US President Donald Trump, Huawei is constantly improving itself. Thanks to the ban on Google and Trump, Huawei has developed further. Huawei continues to develop its own services and applications. Google can do more harm to itself.

Huawei and the Trump administration continue negotiations. If Google accepts the services, it will be available soon. Huawei believes that if they don’t make a deal with Trump, they won’t have any problems.

Huawei Mate 30, Google Services is not available. A website called LZPlay has successfully installed these services on Mate 30. Some sources wrote that the Mate 30 series had no problems with the use of Google Services. The LZPlay website has disappeared for some reason. The founders of Google applications said it was no problem. Huawei’s internal and external sources said that this solution is still working successfully.

We don’t know yet who created LZPlay and its effects on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. In addition, Huawei said the website had nothing to do with it. But the truth is that consumers don’t pay much attention to it, because Google apps are very important to many users, and users can only download the Google app they choose from this website. This means that consumers get rid of unnecessary applications and services.

According to Forbes, this system still works very well. Based on information from the company’s internal and external sources, this system can successfully install Google Services on the Mate 30 series. Also, applications other than Google Pay are not a problem.

Huawei CEO Richard Yu said in an interview to the Android Corporation site that the bootloader in the Mate 30 series will not be unlocked.

Yu said at the launch in Munich:

**We limited [bootloader unlocking] because we wanted to guarantee more security for consumers. But this time we will leave more freedom for the consumers so they can do more customization by themselves. So we are planning to let consumers do that.**

If the bootloader shuts down, the phone cannot be tampered with externally, so Google applications cannot be installed.

On other Mate 30 series phones, especially the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the lack of Google services is a problem. If Google Services is not installed, Mate 30 will probably be sold more in China.

In the Mate 30 series, it is said that Google applications cannot be installed directly from outside as APK files. Users of the phone may have to use Huawei’s own store.
